“I can feel your pulse beating,” Blaine whispered, rubbing his nose against Kurt’s and breaking the silence that was there.
“Oh, can you, now?” Kurt asked, stroking Blaine’s back. It wasn’t often that they got to do this, just lay on Kurt’s bed and simply be, holding each other in quiet and relaxation.
“Yeah,” Blaine whispered. He began tapping his forefinger on Kurt’s chest in a slow, steady rhythm. “It’s like that.”
Kurt picked up Blaine’s hand from his chest and kissed his fingers sweetly. “I love you,” he said quietly, not wanting to break the beauty of the moment as he laced their fingers together.
Blaine’s lips curved into a small smile and he whispered, “I love you, too.” It was silent for a few more moments before Blaine asked something else.”Explain to me what you look like, again?”
Kurt’s heart nearly broke at the words, but he didn’t let his voice express it. “My hair’s brown and my eyes are plain blue. My skin’s pale and I’m too tall for my age. There’s not much to me,” he answered.
Blaine frowned. “Rachel says your eyes area thousand colors. She says they’re blue and green and silver and even have gold in them sometimes. They remind her of blown glass, but..yeah..,” he trailed of for a moment.
“I-,” Kurt began, but Blaine cut him off with a soft shush.
“Your hair is soft like silk when I run my hands through it,” Blaine continued, combing his fingers through Kurt’s hair to prove a point. “Your skin is no exception, it’s soft and toned and warm and it feels like home.” He positioned himself so he was just inches from Kurt’s face. “Your lips are sweet and smooth, Kurt. Kiss?” Kurt obliged and pressed a sweet kiss to Blaine’s lips, and when Blaine broke it, he squeezed Kurt’s hand. “Our fingers fit perfectly, and I can honestly say that you, Kurt Hummel, are the most beautiful boy I have never seen.”
